Over the last thirty years we have purchased five new
construction homes in a variety of locations around the United States. We've
had a lot of experiences with builders and never have we worked with one we
trusted more than Richard Green. We moved into one of Richard's homes in
Asheville in August of 2003. His background in engineering gives him a
knowledge of construction that is impressive. His attention to details makes
his homes beautiful and comfortable to live in.
We believe that the
most important thing about buying a newly constructed home is knowing that the
contractor is honest and dependable and will stand behind his product. Richard
did not disappoint us in this regard and we recommend him highly.

My wife and I bought a newly constructed house from Richard
Green about one year ago. We have been truly impressed and most appreciative
for his sensitivity and unique responsiveness in taking care of the punch list
items, as well as other items which have arisen in the interim, in a timely and
quality manner. In this connection, he has discovered and called to our
attention items we never would have noticed. He has been a man of his word and
readily has gone out of his way to insure that we were satisfied in every
respect, including regular visits and inspections, even when we were not there,
and taking whatever corrective action might have been required.
Time
limits, warranties or periods have never been mentioned. His focus has been to
get it fixed, even if the problem technically may not have been his
responsibility. For example, just a few weeks ago, he immediately took care of
some exceptionally high wind damage we had experienced outside. Similarly, he
focused on a "smoke alarm-fireplace" issue for weeks until it was resolved to
our satisfaction by him and his subs.
He presently is in the process of
orchestrating resolution of a neighboring developer's drainage problem to avoid
impact on us. His integrity has been beyond reproach. We could not be more
satisfied; and, we recommend him unequivocally without reservation. Simply put,
from our perspective, he is "the best".
